We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and skilled Controller to join our corporate team. This role will provide extensive support to our VP of Finance while leading the accounting team and promoting a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Close
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Budget to actual variance tracking
- Borrowing Base Certificate
- Assist with budget preparation
- Fixed Asset management
- Balance Sheet schedules
- Ensure tax and filing compliance
- Facilitate audits
- Collaborate with department managers on SOP's
- Support satellite teams
- Supervise payroll processing
- Oversee and develop the accounting team
- Evaluate efficiency and productivity in the department, execute improvements as needed
- Maintain ERP data integrity
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
- All other duties as assigned

- A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; CPA is preferred
- 5+ years of Accounting experience in a $150M+ corporate accounting environment
- 3+ years of Inventory Accounting experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles
- Strong technical accounting background
- Experience with multi-state tax filing
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
